Anyone that has dared to step outside the last couple of days knows just how FREEZING it is outside! Well, imagine living in Florida and traveling to Ohio to take your engagement pictures in this cold weather…. without a jacket!! Marty and Alexis are those people, and never complained for a second! I could not believe what troopers they were, and they seriously made frostbite look good!

We started out at Avalon Inn and Resort in Howland. Alexis and Marty are planning their wedding there for next year, so it only made sense to explore the property. Not to mention, they have a really amazing indoor spot that kept us warm between shots!

Next we headed to this beautiful snow covered field. The pictures below are definitely some of my all time favorites!

Even though we were freezing the sun came out to shine some pretty light!

Alexis and Marty, thank you so much for allowing me to shoot your engagement session. There is no one else I’d rather freeze with than the both of you! I can’t wait to work with you again on your big day! Until then, enjoy that Florida sunshine!!
