New Years Eve weddings are my FAVORITE! Not only do you get to celebrate your marriage… but a new year!!… and what better place to do that than The Omni William Penn in downtown Pittsburgh!
Kelsey & Mark had a late ceremony, so we had a reveal outside of the hotel before exploring the city!
Is there anything cuter than the groom shedding a few tears!
Color Vanity by Lucia did a perfect job on Kelsey’s makeup!
I adored Kelsey’s vintage fur coat! Perfect for a winter wedding!
Our first stop was the convention center rooftop! Such beautiful views… even with the cold, snow and rain!
The Columns are a perfect spot for the bridal party! Aren’t the white maids beautiful!!
When your initials are “double C’s,” you make Chanel a big part of the day….
It’s no wonder Kelsey traveled all the way to Chicago for her gown… the details on her dress were stunning!
Heinz Memorial Chapel made me want to renew my vows!!
When any officiant says,”no flash” there’s always a bit of disappointment…but I must say these moody black and whites are some of my favorites all day!
There’s nothing prettier than a bride with a cathedral veil!
I love a bride that wears a blusher… and dad flipping it over makes me shed a few tears!
Did I mention the beautiful church?!?
My favorite shot!!
Then off to the Omni to celebrate! One of my favorite details from the day was the table numbers that all had a resolution!
These shiny Faberge eggs were given as favors. They’re a symbol of new beginnings. Quite appropriate for a new years wedding!
Can someone say Gatsby!! This ceiling and chandelier were beyond amazing!!
Notice the brides back… she added flowers for the reception!
AFter dancing with their parents the bride and groom did a special dance with their grandmothers. So sweet!
All the tables had their own gold dipped cake.
Mark did a great job choosing Kelsey’s ring… and the gold complimented it perfectly!
CHeck out the brides adorable Gatsby headpiece!
With all their closest friends and family Kelsey & Mark rang in the new year!
