More often than not, couples have no idea where they want to take their formal pictures. With that in mind, I decided to share with you some of my favorite and most photographed locations! Lets start close to home with…
Avalon Inn and Resort! This is such a beautiful spot and one of the best places to stay out of the rain!
One of the best things about Avalon is the golf course! Plus, when you have your wedding at the resort they give you golf carts to zip around on the course!
Next up is Avalon Holdings, which is also a favorite rain spot, and located directly behind the resort!
Across from Avalon is the Butler Museum of National Art. If you’re having a Modern, unique wedding then this is your spot!
Moving along to downtown Warren is The Womens Garden. Flowers, wrought iron fences and a small stream are perfect for the traditional bride!
City Hall in downtown Warren is within walking distance from the garden, and one of my favorites with a beautiful ivy wall and brick street!
The Upton house can be rented for getting ready shots, wedding ceremonies and formals! If you look closely you can see City Hall across the street!
The back of the house reminds me of an English Garden… who doesn’t love that!!
Still in the same vicinity, is the downtown Warren Ampitheatre. This once was a very popular spot, but with River Rock at the Amp, a concert series on Saturday nights, its booked all Spring, Summer and Fall! But…if you’re having a Friday or Winter Wedding you’re in luck!!
Heading to Niles lets stop by to visit the Niles McKinley Memorial! To me, this is one of the most under rated locations for formals. Most couples only want to come here when it’s raining, but it has so much more to offer!!
Vienna, Oh is home to the lovely Avalon at Squaw Creek! Just as the Resort in Howland, Squaw also gives the bridal party golf carts to ride around the course!
Heading to Hermitage is their sister site Avalon at Buhl. Its easy to see why so many brides choose Buhl!
Yep… thats a wine room!!
The Casino, located in Buhl Park, is lovely as well, and a 2 for 1!
Buhl Mansion, also in Hermitage, is an extremely elegant spot! If gold is your thing… this is your spot!!
That’s all for now!! Stay tuned for some amazing spots in Mahoning County!
Cheers! Natalie
